Tylra D. Lee-Cummings is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of All Roads to Success (ARTS). Her journey began in 2009 after experiencing what she calls a “Job Season” (taken from the Book of Job in the Bible). Ms. Lee-Cummings was a top Claims Adjuster for a prestigious insurance company, in an estranged marriage with three children, and living in a middle-class neighborhood when her life began a downward spiral. She found herself in the middle of a divorce, car repossessed, evicted from her home and lost her job within a 7-month time frame. Ms. Lee-Cummings was homeless and helpless, not having resources, a plan, or direction on what her next step would be. After 2 years of seeking employment, she was feeling hopeless and was at the point of giving up when a good friend told her of a non-profit organization called Connections to Success which housed the Dress for Success program. From there is where her journey began.
For 8 years Ms. Lee-Cummings devoted her life to helping empower thousands of women. It is because of that passion she has created ARTS. She knows firsthand the impact an organization like this can have in restoring one’s hope, dignity, and self-worth. The road to success is always under construction. It has detours, bumps, and barriers but, the goal is to learn from it all and enjoy the journey…
